Protect the intended use of the space

A workstation arrangement should leave the assembly and inspection zones usable when materials are added or equipment is serviced. Link these spaces to the room route and furniture dimensions.

Keep the Enclosure Connected to the Work Area

Door openings, observation points and panel/service junctions should support the parts route and instrument access. Review them alongside the furniture layout rather than selecting the enclosure independently of the workstations.
